Our Story

Our story began when we least expected it. We clicked right away, discovering a surprising connection that just felt right. As we traveled together and discovered new corners of the world we became inseparable, each trip making us tighter than the last.

Now, a year and a half later, we're ready to officially begin our life together.

Our engagement unfolded in a moment of pure magic in the breathtaking wilderness of Norway. The view was spectacular, and our buddies Jill, Chris, and their baby made sneaky appearances in the background. We celebrated the big yes with some Peppes pizza right by the highway on our way back to Oslo.

This is just the start of our grand adventure. We have big dreams for our future, so stay tuned for more exciting journeys ahead!

Plan Your Visit

01.
Getting from the airport to city centre

Take the Flytoget Airport Express from Oslo Gardermoen Airport to get to the city center. The train runs every 10 minutes throughout the day, and the ride to Oslo Central Station takes only 19 minutes.

Once you’re in the city center, you can use Uber or Bolt to reach your hotel or Airbnb. If you need any tips or guidance, just let us know! 😊

02.
How to move around in Oslo?

Taxis and Ride-sharing:
We recommend using ride-sharing services such as Uber or Bolt. Taxis are also available but more expensive.

Trams and Buses:
The tram network (Trikken) and buses cover most areas of Oslo. They are frequent, reliable, and connect well with other transport modes.

Tickets can be bought at kiosks, ticket machines, or via the Ruter app, which is the official app for public transportation in Oslo.

Metro (T-Bane):
The Oslo Metro has five lines covering the city and surrounding areas. The metro runs frequently, with trains every 5-15 minutes.

03.
Accommodation

The wedding reception will be at Gjestestuene at the Norwegian Folk Museum, which is only a 7-minute drive from the city center.

There are many accommodation options in the city center, but we will reach out and share with you our recommendations.

Q&A

01.
What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal (but comfortable). Since the wedding venue is indoors, it will be warm enough, so don’t worry about the weather.

04.
Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is a lot of parking space at the venue.

02.
Will transportation be provided between the church and the venue?

Yes! We have secured a bus for all the guests, which will be waiting outside the church right after the ceremony.

05.
What is the weather like in Oslo during the wedding period?

The weather is typically cold, around -5°C. We recommend bringing lots of layers to stay warm and comfy.

03.
Do you have a wedding registry?

No, your presence at the wedding is all we need! If you really insist on a gift, any contribution towards our honeymoon would be much appreciated! :)
